Trish Vevera paints mainly in oils, but also acrylics and watercolors. Trish has earned progressive art degrees from Grinnell College, Iowa, The University of Iowa, and the University of Illinois.  She has taken classes at the Art Institute of Chicago and various other schools.

Ms. Vevera has taught at the high school, community college, art group, and private levels. She has conducted workshops for various groups and clubs in the area.  In the past few years she has been in area outdoor art shows and festivals as well as area Plein Air Paint Outs.

 

Trish is a member of several arts organizations and has shown at several other galleries.  Trish combines her love of outdoor and plein-air painting with the challenge of abstracting the landscape.
She provides a contemporary interpretation of a realistic environment by pushing the colors and design.
